Stop for a second and think if GEJ were a competent administrator, would the people have rejected him?

Jonathan singlehandedly made Buhari the president by his ineptitude and incompetence.

It was a decision between the devil and the deep blue sea.

P.S. The ironical thing about you guys that come for critics like me is that, while we would always be objective and hold them '419ers' and devilish politicians accountable, clamouring for better governance, you lot always want to take sides aiding and abetting them corrupt mfxkers.

Tell me what PDP was thinking presenting Atiku as a viable candidate, of all the bright young minds and corrupt-free candidates possible?
Oh, them dollars . . .

Sadly, regrettably, PDP gave Buhari the win, even before the elections got started.

That one is story. How can massive corruption happen under his nose and you feel he came out unblemished?

Do you know how many times his signature was used to carryout corrupt activities?

Former finance minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala says Goodluck Jonathan's inability to effectively tackle corruption, left her very frustrated.
President Goodluck Jonathan’s body language and mixed signals when it came to tackling corruption, left his Finance Minister drained and frustrated, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has shared in her new book: ‘Fighting corruption is dangerous; the story behind the headlines’.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote up there. What you wrote is largely assumption and conjecture. No facts!

Take him to court. Convict him. Call him a thief freely. You cannot come online and say things like "with all the corruption around him..." That is Buhari's style: call a man a murder without asking or seeing whom he killed.

The world doesn't work that way.

Didn't Jonathan and didn't vote Buhari, but my senses are in tact to not allow me be the judge of a case I don't have cold, hard facts.

Everything APC said PDP did they are doing even worse. Jonathan didn't tackle corruption but he gave you BVN, IPPIS, TSA. To me that is fighting corruption the smart way, not useless media trials that lead nowhere.

Every government in Nigeria is allegedly corrupt, so whatever APC said in 2015 they just said to buy people's favour. They are no better. They are birds of the same feather.

Justice Ahmed Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday withdrew from the fundamental rights enforcement suit instituted by the 'RevolutionNow' protests convener, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, seeking an order for his release from custody of the Department of State Service. There have been no fresh charges instituted against Sowore since he was rearrested by the operatives of the DSS on December 6 barely 24 hours of being released from the agency's detention lasting over months.

But Justice Mohammed ruled on Monday that he could not hear Sowore's case filed on December 10 saying it was the fair, just and proper thing to do in view of the previous publications by Sowore's medium, Sahara Reporters, accusing him of taking bribe in a case to influence the outcome of his case.

The case in question is the trial of a former Governor of Benue State, Senator Gabriel Suswam, who is now being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before another judge of the court, Justice Okon Abang. Justice Mohammed noted on Monday that the reports by Sahara Reporters in 2016 and 2019 made him to withdraw from the ex-governor's trial.

He recalled that when the first report was published in 2016, he was prevailed upon by the prosecution and defence teams to continue with the case. He said on continuing with the case, a similar report was published in June this year.

He said the situation put him in a situation whereby if he ruled in favour of Sowore, it could be perceived as having been blackmailed by Sowore to so rule, and that in the event that he ruled against the activist, he could be perceived as being vengeful.

"Justice is rooted in confidence," the judge said, adding, "That is to say none of the parties should have fear or apprehension that he will not get justice before a court." He then ordered that the case file be sent back to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, for reassignment to another judge.

nobody is talking about the effects of his sermon in a country with lots of security challenges like the boko haram, herdsmen clashes and the IPOB propaganda. We are always looking for a government to blame, no thinking of how to contribute positively to the well-being of the country, am sure you guys are aware of what a phone call made by president trump is causing in both USA and Ukraine, let's use our tongue to count our teeths

Even criminals caught red handed in court beat cases based in technicalities. So that is not a enough proof of innocence.

The fact is that Goodluck was party to it. He can not call himself a saint when massive looting went under his nose.

The immediate past Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, illegally approved the transfer of at least N61.4 billion ($300 million and £5.5 million) from funds recovered from late dictator, Sani Abacha, to the Office of the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, few weeks to the 2015 presidential election, PREMIUM TIMES can authoritatively report today.

The former Minister signed off on the transfer but then closed her eyes to how the funds were spent, requesting then President Goodluck Jonathan to directly demand accountability from Mr. Dasuki, according to documents seen by this newspaper.

If this government continues to flout court orders and abuse the rights of the people they will end up worse than just losing the next election.

Better get over this Jonathan syndrome. It would have resulted in as much a disaster as this. As much as I regret having Buhari as president, I have never for a day wished Jonathan continue his father Christmas dispensation.
