Can A Muslim (CEO) Give/Receive Christmas/End Of The Year Gifts??? by TeeBabss(m): 8:51am On Dec 24, 2019
As-salam alaekum brothers and sisters.

This is December time and it comes with a lot of buzz and confusion all round, especially in the religious sense (as a Muslim).
Well, this is not our religious calendar, but this is what we follow for our day to day activities.....

Straight to my question Can a Muslim (CEO) give/receive Christmas/End of the Year Gifts?

Note: Just last week, were given a gift at my workplace with the inscription 'Merry Christmas' on it...and everybody (including Muslim staff) collected it joyfully

He may compensate them for their hard work and dedication to work and can be done on any day, why wait till their festival or new year before doing that. We mustn't be like them all the time.

While growing up, we were told that we should not wish Christians merry Christmas or celebrate Christmas or Easter because we were told they are of pagan origin.

Little did I know that all the 5 pillars of Islam are of pagan origin

1. "There is no god but Allah "
Is of pagan origin. Allah was an idol worshipped by the Quarysh tribe of Mecca and Abdulmuttalib, a pagan worshipper of Allah even named one of his son's Abdul Allah which means slave of Allah, Abdul Allah was later contrapted as Abdullah.

In fact, we were told in authentic Siras that Abdulmuttalib almost sacrificed Abdullah to Allah while standing before the image of Hubal. Allah is the spirit, Hubal is the image. Hubal is represented by star and crescent moon, the same image we have on the top of our mosques minarets today.

Muhammad was born into that pagan family and was also doing all the pagan worshipping associated with the Quarysh tribe even before he received his first revelation.

Part of the pagan traditions of the Quarysh that time was going to the caves for days to worship and chants to invoke jinns and other demons. It's of common knowledge that Arabian jinns are mostly in the caves.

Muhammad was doing one of this seclusions in the caves when a jinn appeared to him and gave him the first revelation that later formed the basis of Islam.

How did we know it was a jinn and not the spirit of God?

it was because the jinn pressed Muhammad 3 times until he could not longer breathe, and the spirit didn't say that He was sent by God almighty. Angels of God don't suffocate who they are sent to, they introduce themselves as being sent from God and they don't make the recipients of their messages to feel cold and to shiver.

The spirit that appeared to Muhammad in the cave made tried to suffocate him 3 times until Muhammad could no longer breathe, the spirit never introduced himself as being sent from God, Muhammad felt cold and shivered and ran home to his wife Khadijah who later covered him with clothes.

Please read Sahih Bukhari Vol 1 Book 1 Hadith 3 to confirm all these.

Muslims are the ones practicing paganism but they accuse Christians wrongly.

Muslims please read wide and free yourself from the shackles of Islam.

Shaytan Advocate where is it stated that Allah was an idol? And that the shahadah was of pagan origin?
You're Sunni go and read the Siras especially Sira Ishaq and Tabari and learn about the relationship between Allah and Hubal. Learn about how people were praying to Allah while standing before Hubal, his image.

Don't worry, lemme share you an islamic website narration of how Abdulmutallib almost sacrificed Abdullah to Allah his idol and all the references they gave are from authentic sources.

https://questionsonislam.com/question/how-did-incident-prophets-father-abdullah-being-vowed-be-sacrificed-take-place

Allah was among the 360 idols resident in the Kaaba whom the Quarysh tribe believed was the greatest of all the 360 idols of Mecca, that was why the Meccans were angry with Muhammad for trying to promote his family's idol above the other 360 idols.

Learn, so that you can free your mind.

The reason Shahada is of pagan origin is because Abdulmuttalib who was a pagan and every other pagans of Quarysh before him believed Allah their own idol was the greatest and that there is no other god except him, that was why Muhammad was beating other idols in the Kaaba with sticks when he later conquered Mecca

Now It is evident that you are a ignoramus! You should know that those books are books of history with truth and falsehood mixed up!

I was thinking you would quote a verse to substantiate your claim. Don't know your claims were based on a story book!

May you be healed!

grin Now I know that you're an ignoramus, so Siras are now mere story books, what books tell about the pre Islamic or pre revelation days of Muhammad? What books tell you about how he married Khadija? What books tell you about his parents, his early life? They are Siras written by the early Muslims, the most popular of which is Sira ibn Ishaq.

I'm not surprised anyways, you're quick to reject this story now because it revealed the pagan origin of your religion.

Oh the link I shared was written by islamophobes right? And all the references they gave in the article were from newspapers right grin ?

Arabs know all these, but an African would reject Arabian history for them because it reveals the truth about the myths they believe in

I challenge you to recommend an authentic source's narration of how Abdulmuttalib wanted to sacrifice Abdullah to his idol, how the people of mecca mocked him for having only one son and how he prayed to Allah to give him 10 sons, how he took the sons before Hubal, Ishaf and Naila(idols in the Kaaba) How he sacrificed 100 camels later to ransom Abdullah.

If you're a true Muslim either refute these or show the authentic source.

Finally, the Christmas celebration you labelled pagan, didn't you learn it from history too? Double standards
