Christianity is not about the Bible . The Bible is a manual.... Christianity is about mercy , love , forgiveness. There are Christians who , because of persecution, are deprive of the Bible ... but are sti able to practice their religion.
Without the Bible , a Christian would still be a Christian. Christians don't recite prayers or recite memorise verses . We read the Bible to see how it's principles can Help us be better person. Once those virtues are in you , you can do without the Bible ...prayers , meditation and other values we need are in ingrained

The Chinese do not discriminate, they persecute both Christians and muslims. The problem is Christians are able to compromise more that muslims. Muslims do not compromise their beliefs at all and so the government see them more as threat.
