ATTACK ON JONATHAN'S HOME, A NATIONAL SHAME

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom says the attack on the country residence of former President Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke, Bayelsa State by gunmen yesterday is a national shame.

The Governor condemns the attack and wonders why armed men would want to harm a peace-loving man and former President of the country.

He poses that if Dr Jonathan could be attacked in such a manner, what becomes of vulnerable Nigerians?

The Governor describes the attack as unfortunate and urges security operatives to bring the culprits to justice.

He also calls on security agencies to intensify surveillance in all parts of the country to guarantee the safety of lives and property.

Governor Ortom joins other Nigerians in praising God for sparing the life of former President Jonathan when the attackers invaded his residence.

Am just glad the insecurity is going round.

If what needs to be done has been done, suspects would have been behind bars by now. But its Nigeria, you can conveniently rob a police station if worthy.

the vulnerable ones are the Nigerian military, and police,, not we we have been defending and securing our lives and property without them

It's a shame to be honest..

But we shouted on top of our voices then to Jonathan to pay attention to the bad state of security, I remember, he was using Reuben Abati to tell 'children of hatred' to stop hauling stones. Now, all of them never see anything. In 2020, the trouble shall visit all of them one by one until they do something sensible about it.

Goodluck Jonathan is not innocent either, let him feel what we were feeling then and see why we were all shouting and had to boot him before Baba werey was brought in. Him and Baba werey deserve a long time in jail for the rest of their lives for all this mess they have put us all in..

Imagine thieves visiting an ex President's home, who can they not visit..

Why hire people to spread falsehood on social media and around the country when u can do good and the testimonies of the masses will elevate u. when other state civil servants are enjoying 13month salary, ortom was struggling to pay november salary b4 christmas.. Some mad people will be supporting him on nairaland. Just enter makurdi and u will see trash of a state capital. Every wer dry. The only place booming is the governors factories and farms.

ORTOM as a governor is a disgrace to benue state . So all this attack on benue state is not a nation shame to you?
