This is not a news at all and I am not surprised. The nepotism and high-handedness of this government is second to none. They do not even care whatever anybody may say again. No respect for individual or rule of law not to talk of observing such direction from the comptroller general of customs. Ali himself knows the law is not for Fulani and that's why nothing will happen. We just pray we reach 2023 with sound mind. Nigeria is in comatose.

Most times it is same southern officers that become too overzealous to enforce the laws against a fellow southerner while easily overlooking the north.
who born dem make dem no overlook am? Anyday an officer from the south intercepts or exposes a smuggler in the northern boarder and it's reported in the dailies, he should know he has received his transfer letter already grin. Fulanis don't expose themselves, even if their kinsman is seen stealing all the money in the CBN's vault. Go to the north and see exotic cars. They hardly pay duties on them. Go to Abuja and see flashy cars lined along the highway leading to kubwa for sale. The majority of them do not have customs papers...how did they enter Nigeria, if not via the northern boarders? This tax regime would take effect mainly down south because hausa fulanis dont pay tax and they're not being punished for it.

And the DPR official recently was lying on NTA and channels TV that there's total compliance to the ban. Fear North, they can only deceive the gullible. The borders in the north is still wide open.
