I am disappointed at the planned projects of this budget. Who hotels help? Instead of constructing flyover bridges to ease movements around the city and also around Nsukka, he is reconstructing hotels If movements are easy and free, individuals will construct 5 star hotels because more tourists will be attracted. Beside, why not sell out those hotels to organizations that will reconstruct them and do a proper management? Nike lake hotel is badly managed today because its in the hand on the government. Government that cannot manage anything. Enugu traffic is gradually becoming more congested than even Lagos due to population increase and nothing is done about it in the budget. The stakeholders that delibrated the budget are bunch of nonentity heads honestly. . 3 Likes 1 Share |

Ugwuanyi is very senseless!!! Why is he spending billions building another campus to move faculties that are already established to Nsukka? Why is he moving college of medicine to Nsukka when so much have already been spent to properly establish them at Enugu State Teaching Hospital? What will become of those structures already in place? Instead of him to complete projects left over by Sullivan e.g the new secretariat etc he is spending billions on already established structures. The 200 bed specialist hospital he laid foundation for has long been abandoned at foundation level!! Instead of him to improve the salary of his civil servants and pay up gratuities still staggering back to 2010, he is wasting billions to move already established structures to his father land. Enugu state where a director at the state civil service earns a meagre 92k as monthly salary a whole director!! When his foolish supporters claim he pays salaries, the real question is how much does he pay? Invest directly into the lives of your people NO! You rather waste money on silly projects and hotels. The school of health at GRA Nsukka, upgrade it to a College for your people to enjoy no, instead you want to waste billions to move Facilities already in place to your father's door step. Doctors and other health workers already at Parklane are well underpaid but yet he wants to waste billions movind structures already in place. Look at Enugu having potholes in this useless tenure with no single tangible new infrastructure coming from this yeye administration. I am not against him doing something for our Nsukka people after all we all hailed him when he embarked on massive road works in Nsukka. But wasting public funds to move already established structures to your father land just because you have shitty advisers and worse cos he can't think for himself is just sheer stupidity when there are various sectors in dire need of intervention. I just hope as he has already embarked on this foolishness, that he completes the projects cos if he doesn't it will be a double waste of public funds when the new governor comes. Compliments of the season to all the good people of Enugu state. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Humphrizy: Sullivan took over 40 billion naira loan before he left office, ugwuanyi's regime is paying for it. Sullivan wasted state funds wella, even though he received very massive allocation wen crude oil prices was high. Right now ugwuanyi receives 2 - 3 billion as monthly allocation from FG, sullivan got as much as 6 - 8 billion monthly as allocation...that's the difference 2 Likes 1 Share |

Jamesilvar: i feel your pain bro, but if youve been to the college of medicine you would know that the school is expanding. it has gotten accreditation to run othe courses like med lab, anatomy and nursing. and in the future the college is still going to expand torun other medical courses such as radiogrphy and medical rehablitation. when all these happen, parklane wont contain the number of students there. college of medicne unn has 3 campuses, Unec, Unth old site and unth ituku ozala. 2 Likes |

iamdrduru: People complaining about pulling down their building should stop developments?? If those building are built on master plan area, whose fault is it? Again why not give them simple compensation? Should Enugu continue to look like rag tag city all because of complain? With the renovation going on in the international airport, Enugu should be expecting population expansion and tourist visitations. Should take traffic decongestion very serious. |

PrecisionFx: My brother let me tell you something.... Yes.. Sullivan did some of the things you listed outchea but his works cannot be forgotten. Seems you ain't residing in Enugu.... My people are in Enugu so I do visit them occasionally... Enugu is not what it was back then between 2007 - 2015....If you enter Enugu... You will that of a truth... It's really the Coal City state... It had very cool and awesome environment back then compared to what it is today. Currently, the roads ain't properly maintained. Traffic & Street lights => 0 Dirts littered around the metropolise. He ain't doing any job since he assumed office... My younger brother is schooling in Esut...there is an increase in their school fees.. They are to add extra N50,000 ontop the N125,000 plus that they were paying before... So permit me to say that he have failed in various sectors in the state.... He gat nothing to show off. I hate nobody but I will always say things the way there are. Good morning to you 1 Like |

Jamesilvar: Adada college of medicine has been in Nsukka even when ESUT was still ASUTECH. You didn't cry when Chimaroke moved it to Parklane and the main campus to his village Agbani. Besides moving back the college of medicine to it's original campus, Parklane is not big enough to accommodate the new faculties springing up in the college of medicine. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
