Mikel Arteta has claimed that Arsenal are ‘the biggest club’ in England

Speaking ahead of the massive clash with Chelsea, Arteta made the questionable statement, claiming that Arsenal need to be arrogant because of their station as the biggest team in the land.

"We are the biggest football club in England and we have to play a little bit with that arrogance, that belief.
"This stadium has to create fear again."

The atmosphere at the Emirates has grown increasingly toxic over the last few months as large swathes of the fanbase fell out of love with the team.

The need to nurture a healthy relationship between team and fan has never been greater and Arteta will be desperate to give the fans something to cheer about.

However, with Liverpool gallivanting around the world picking up trophies at will and Manchester City dominating the domestic scene, there are more than a few who disagree with his 'biggest club' quip.
