Whoever controls the APC delegates list controls who wins the primaries. Wouldn't it count that the members validly elected were not sworn in? So are we saying that they are not relevant in the scheme of things? Philip Shaibu is a thug, and I am shocked Edo APC leaders would claim a thug is their leader. Oshiomole miscalculated too in fronting a character like Shaibu.

The best thing to do now is to factionalize the APC and if Obaseki is still dumb enough to remain there, he'd lose his seat. All they need is two parallel congresses and one party goes to court and the court rules that APC had no valid candidate. This was the stunt Buba Galadima attempted to pull in the APC but he grossly miscalculated because Atiku, Kwankwaso and Saraki already decamped.

In the event that Ize-Iyamu's camp succeeds in the parallel congress, the party that comes second in the elections would be asked to take over the reins of power. PDP, this is your time.

I'm sure that you wrote this based on sentiment and outright hatred for Tinubu through Oshiomole. What the news said about the deputy governor is what can be best described as the media noises. By the time they are out of the office after finishing their first tenure, it will do them like film trick.

Dont mind him and his little supporters that are making noise all over the place. Obaseki thinks once he says something, that thing becomes law in APC.
You cant remove your National Chairman, in a small, local corner of Edo, it will require the BOT and the NWC of the party at the National level becuse he is not a State Chairman but the Chairman of APC in all the 36 states of the federation.
Obaseki is just loosing his senses by the day

Most Nigerians tend to have amnesia and forget things too easily, that is hwt our Politicians can scam us repeatedly.

- Dont forget tat it was Obaseki that started this nonsense when he decided to hold State Assembly office sharing elelction in the middle of the night, without allowing the Legislators loyal to Oshiomole to be part of it.
- Dont forget it was Obaseki that is using some House members to impose a minority on the majority of lawmakers, even refusing to swear-in new members loyal to Oshiomole.
- Dont forget that the State APC is subservient to the National APC! It is the National APC that conducts election for the State, in all Nigerian states.
- Dont forget that Oshiomole still remains the National Chairman of APC, infact, his position makes him the #1 APC person in Nigeria. The Chairman of a party at the National elevel superceeds any other member. Obaseki is just a "local champion" in Edo politics.
- Dont forget that it is the National level that has Power to suspend ANYONE at the state level, not the other way round as Obaseki and his minions are doing.

Infact, Obaseki si acting like the Student who comes to class and announces that he has suspended his School principal henceforth, what manner of idiocy is that?

At the end of the day, Obaseki will realise that what an Elder sees, sitting down, is more than what a Child sees, perched on top of a Tree.
The way Obaseki is running up and down, it is obvious that he has dug his own grave and is very, very afraid. he knows that he will lose a second term bid for Governorship and that would be the nail in his coffin.

Oshiomole is just watching this small boy Obaseki, running from Pillar, to Post.
Just one Chess move that Oshiomole made, Obaseki and his supporters went into a death frenzy. grin grin grin

Ize Iyamu has more popularity in Edo, than Obaseki and all his thugs combined, he will clinch the APC ticket for Eod State (dont forget that it is the National Working Committee that would organise that election as well and Osho-Baba dey siddon-wait for that time).

Obaseki will likely defect to another party, to contest as Governor. It will now be a fight between Local warLord and Federal power.
Except it is Buhari that is as usual, trying to destroy his own party by remaining mute when he ought to speak out and stamp authority, as Party Leader at the National level (I have said it many times that Buhari wants to destroy APC, so that another Fulani/Northerner can win the Presidency, using another party, hence his recent anti-party actions and inactions. That is payback for the Yorubas, for supporting him, God don catch them, Buhari don double-cross them), Obaseki knows his chance of a second term is almost zero, with Ize-Iyamu now back in the APC.

Oshiomole Sense pass all these gra gra wey Obaseki and this thugs dey make.

He's the governor of a whole state, what do you expect? Ambode did more than that, they just waited for him at the primary election. That was all what they could do. Why would Buhari or presidency as you put it give Obaseki a backing against Oshiomole? No reason at all. Obaseki and his deputy are goners after this term in office
