You cannot be self employed or run a business whilst on a student visa. You will be found out and could be banned for a considerable period of time.

You may only work upto 20 hours a week for an employer when on a student visa.

oga, its been a while since we last spoke.

It depend on your sex, if you're a lady you could be doing hair for people in their homes and charge cheaper price than what could be offered in a normal salon. some men who have skill as Electrician too can work for people by taking smaller jobs but i doubt if a fresher from Naija can adapt so quickly. There are other few jobs like acting as a party organiser (but this also require you to have been in the UK for some time to get customers), cleaning people's houses for a small fee, Childminding (license required) and many more.

Like I stated above many of these jobs require you to have been in the UK for some time because it require some connections and understanding of the way UK system work. These type of work will not reflect on your National Insurance number unless you registered yourself with HMRC as self employed.

unfortunately, its almost impossible to combine work with sch, esp when studyin for degree or post grad, not to talk about runninga business which is breaching ur condition of stay

trust me, the amount of course work and assignment alone from ur master degree is enough to keep u busy for the whole time, evening during holuday, unless u rent bothered about ur grade.

but u can be running business undergound, like buyin stuffs in the uk and sending to nigeria, if u ve the market for it
