There is palpable tension in Okeagbe Akoko as the State Government directed the handover of the ONLY Muslim School in the town and moved the Students to Christian School.
The Government said the AUD Primary School is to be handed over to the State University for undisclosed purpose.

While reacting to the government actions Muslims from in and around the community said they were not consulted by the Government or its Representatives before such delicate decision was made and so not happy about the development. They pleaded to the State Government to spare the Muslims the only Muslim School in the community and not to do anything that will jeopardize the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians in the peaceloving town.

They insisted the Government should have used the abandoned Mega Secondary in Ikare Akoko for the purpose. The Mega Secondary in Ikare has not been put to use since its completion four(4) years ago by the Mimiko led administration. The Ikare Mega Secondary School is known to be bigger and currently unutilized.

Christians are the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen. If a northern state had done a hundredth of this the media would have been shouting.

Lalasticlala, please come and push this to go let people see their crusade they're cooking in Ondo state.

While there could be more to the story than the above, it's important that our leaders avoid sacrilegious policies.
