Rapper Nick Cannon: Margaret Sanger Founded Planned Parenthood “to Exterminate the Negro Race”

Rapper Nick Cannon has not been shy about his disgust at Planned Parenthood and its eugenic roots.

In a recent interview with Vlad TV, Cannon explained why the nation’s largest abortion provider disturbs him and why he has been so vocal about it.

“[Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger and all the people who follow eugenics and all that stuff—it was all about cleansing,” Cannon told Vlad TV. “Margaret Sanger said she wanted to exterminate the negro race and that she was going to use her organization that she founded to do so.”

In November, Cannon also described Planned Parenthood as “modern-day eugenics” for black Americans and described its work as “population control.”

He mentioned how the abortion group targets blacks and other minorities by placing many of its abortion facilities in minority neighborhoods. Cannon almost was one of them. The rapper said his mother considered aborting him while he was in the womb but chose life instead.

As for why he’s speaking out now, Cannon said the Christian values his family of community leaders instilled in him has always inspired him to “speak the truth” no matter what.

“I come from a long line of community leaders and I’ve always thought that to who much is given, you’re responsible for that, much is required,” he said, referring to Luke 12:48. “So I use my platform to tell the truth at the end of the day.”

In his most recent interview, however, Cannon said he is “not pro-choice” or “pro-life.” Though his mother chose life for him, Cannon said he does not think he, as a man, has a right to speak up against abortion.

“… I don’t have the right to speak on what a woman should do with her body. I don’t feel like the government should have the right. I don’t feel like any organization that makes money should have the right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. A woman should make that decision. That’s why I don’t speak on that,” Cannon said.

Cannon has promoted life-affirming messages in the past, though. In 2005, he produced the music video “Can I Live” about his mother’s decision to choose life for him.

The video depicts his mother as a teenager, lying in an abortion facility, as Nick’s spirit pleads for her not take his life, saying, “That’s life inside you, look at your tummy … What is becoming Ma, I am Oprah bound … You can tell he’s a star from the Ultrasound.”

“Mommy, I don’t link this clinic/Hopefully you’ll make the right decision and don’t go through with the Knife Decision…”

“Hopping off da bus when the rain is pouring/What you want morning sickness or the sickness of mourning?”

At the time, Cannon also maintained that his song was not meant to be a statement against abortion.

I read that there was a bit of controversy towards the decision as civil rights leaders even disagreed, Malcolm X called it an informal way of reducing the black population so as to reduce any influence on the politics and culture of the united states while Martin Luther King supported since a lot of black families were poor and couldn't have been able care of themselves.
