Tonyfx if you have time try placing pending stop order at 0.0 fibs level of all the sucessful daily pinbar this week stop loss at 38.20 fibs then check the 4 hour time frame for how it goes, am backtesting this right now and its working fine, am looking for more data to backrest it on.

Great Question. I will like to share what the market taught me with you.

Price was at a mini support on 4hr timeframe. I saw the bullish engulfing and went long. My stops was taken. Then we had a daily closure below the support. I changed my overall mindset to bearish on the pair. On the next daily close, price formed a bullish engulfing candle. Then Something was just not right. Then I gambled took a sell and buy trade...lol when I saw the bulls won the battle, I found it difficult to add positions to the move. My emotion took over. Lol

The lesson there was that I should have waited for a daily candle before making my mindset position either long or short.

Bro I'm watching a video in which tradingview explained something like this wow I will have to go practical on it next week
He is talking about adding 33.33 to the fibo and set it on the pin bar so if the pin bar is valid the open and the close of the body will be 33.3percent I guess I will have to go study it today

I did a quick backtest with this week market price action with the following rules.

Setup= looking for a pinbar whose entire body closes within 100-61.8% fib
Entry= set pending order buy stop or sell stop few pips above or below the 100% fib
Stop loss= at 50% fib
Tp= 200% fib
B.E= 168.1% fib
Risk To Reward= 1-2
Timeframe = daily
backtested on 28 pairs

Lost here

won

AJ won
AUDNZD lost
EJ won
GU lost

GU won
USDCAD won
USDCHF won
USDZAR B.E

So in total 10 trades
6 wins
3 losses
1 break-even
RR 1;2

More backtest would be required though
but i think it might have potential
