The Vision 20:2020 is a dream statement that Nigeria will become one of the first 20 economies in the world by the year 2020.

The former Minister of National Planning Dr Shamsudeen Usman (2009), who unveiled the economic blueprint at a workshop, declared: “By 2020, Nigeria will be one of the 20th largest economies in the world, which will be able to consolidate its leadership role in Africa and establish itself as a significant player in the global economic and political arena.”

The question now is, can Nigeria still achieve this VISION 2020?

Nigeria is a country that cannot and will not achieve any long term plan because of the following reasons:

1. our politics of hate
2. non successive govts
3. lack of "visionary" leaders with specific worldviews
4. division of interests
5. absence of true federalism
6. missing orientation of greatness that needs to constsntly and daily emphasized and practiced by its populace.

if you say Africa or an african nation cannot be great, i quickly refer you to Rwanda.

It's time Nigerians understand that they are going round in circles with no direction or destination..

Nigerian politicians are selfish and wicked
All they think about is how best to loot and cut from the national cake...

While zombies with empty stomachs and borrowed data cheer their oppressors on all over social media...

There is no hope for the country...

Nigeria itself is a scam. A country that has NEVER met a target and has no plans for its people.

Vision 2020, vision 2020, it's finally dawned on us.
