It has become "rocket science". Remember that our minister used those words before the 2015 election. He promised electricity in 6 months. He became the oga in charge. Now almost 5 years later if you ask he will say PDP embezzled the gas, electric poles and wires.

Nigeria is a big joke.

India's installed power generating capacity is 334 GigaWatts, Nigeria is toying with 3,000MegaWatts.

What a country!

I still don't understand this megawatt off a thing, how many state can a thousand megawatt carry.
Ordinarily a thousand megawatts should be enough for each state (at least on a "management" level), but four states currently share an average of 450MW. In perspective, a certain religious building in an Asian country uses more than 15,000MW.

4000 MW is not even enough for Lagos State normally... They should stop feeding us with their mediocre stats.

I know something like this will surely happened when that cow that was appointed minister of darkness release a press that Nigeria should pray for him despite huge allocation budgeted to his ministry

to think the dude is an engineer beat my imagination, even Fashola that was a lawyer didn't have worse record like this. ever since he resumed office, the megawatt is rather retrogressing, no improvement

let Buhari keep appointing incompetent fools in the course of my people must dominate, the record will be there for him after his exit in 2023

People were criticising and critical of the choice of Fashola then, that being a lawyer, what competence did he have handling the power sector? Truth is with him at the helm of the power affairs, he held a clout as a former successful Governor; as a result, he put the entire Power sector on its toes. Constantly asserting himself on the sector and regularly briefing Nigerians on the proposed incremental plans. Truth is 2 weeks before May 29, 2019, when Ministers had to hand over from various ministerial positions and handover to the Permanent Secretaries, the performance of the Power Sector took a dip; power supply in this area was an all time high of 12hrs per day. Immediately Fashola handed over, it took a dip. Now, it's barely 3 to 4 hrs in 2 days or so. With Fashola at the helm of affairs, the Discos were kept on their toes.

Now it is dry season, they are complaining of shortage of gas. During the rainy season, with too much rain and everywhere flooded, the Discos were scared of evacuating power from the Gencos because of outdated infrastructure, thereby crippling the National Grid with redundant power. It is dry season now, no rain to disturb, but it's another complaint entirely.
Truth is Mamman Saleh has been missing in action.

And to think that the youths of this zoo are celebrating and rejoicing that a certain stripper turn gangster rapper jokes to file for Nigerian citizenship.

Talking about misplaced priority or simply fed up youth who has no hope for the country that they resort to anything else to take away their sorrows just like a drunkard who drinks away his sorrow calling it having fun.LOL!!

Oh and is this rapper going to burn generator fuel with you in the zoo.

So after 5 years of Buhari, Nigeria is still not generating more than 4000 MW of power. So Buhari has not added anything to what he inherited from GEJ. Buhari is the definition of incompetence. Shame on Fashola.

Dont mind them. Nigeria is just a joke! Even Jonathan did not add anything meaningful; same as Obasanjo, the worst of them sall.
All they do is decieve the people with "giant of Africa" nonsense loose talk and some ignirant people believe the crap!
South Africa produces more than 45,000MW for 40million people and that is not even considered adequate.
The useless "giant" is producing 4,000MW for 160million people! Big shame!
