IgbereTV reports that on Sunday, Iran declared that it would no longer follow the agreement reached with the US to abide by any of the restrictions imposed by the 2015 nuclear deal.

According to IgbereTV reports, the government said it would no longer observe limitations on its capacity for enrichment, the level of enrichment, the stock of enriched material, or research and development.

The statement came after a meeting of the Iranian cabinet in Tehran.

This comes amid tensions after the killing of the top Iranian General, Qasem Soleimani, by the United States in Baghdad.

Under the 2015 accord, Iran agreed to limit its sensitive nuclear activities and allow in international inspectors in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions.

US President Donald Trump abandoned it in 2018, saying he wanted to force Iran to negotiate a new deal that would place indefinite curbs on its nuclear programme and also halt its development of ballistic missiles.

Iran refused and has since been gradually rolling back its commitments under the agreement.

Trump has since abandoned the agreement since he came into office.

Iran though will seek negotiations with other permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany, who have in their turn advised Iran to stick to the agreement.

Iran must be diplomatic. Pelosi is foot-dragging, but the moment Iran strikes, not even the fiercest democrat will oppose an attack and it will be "decades" before Iran recovers.

Choose the option of threats, as you are doing...follow back- channels, using European partners to get something after the US elections....aids, finance whatever.
