hi friends , what is the difference between sponsorship and scholarship . I am going to embassy with a letter of sponsorship from Germany. which visa category do I fill ? before going to embassy do I need to open a foreign account?

Letter of sponsorship is different from scholarship. Its just more or less like the BA. Its an evidence to proof that u would be taken care of during your stay by a German resident since u can't provide the required amount for BA. So it's not a criteria for any category, its just part of the visa checklist.

Check out their enrollment deadline, if it is somewhere ending of October/Early November

Secondly, check if they allow enrollment by proxy

Thirdly, write your course coordinator and ask if they can allow you resume in early December (most cases, they would- especially if your resumption is within 1 month of the original deadline-)
