I just love going through different computer science curriculum of universities in Nigeria and abroad (I have some threads related to this already on NL. See here: https://www.nairaland.com/5029752/look-some-nigerian-universities-computer ) to learn about 'what's new' in the field.

Recently, I came across a curriculum for University of Benin and It looks a little different from other Nigerian universities like Futminna, OUA, ABU, UNIJOS, ATBU, IU etc.

UNIBEN's curriculum, seems, to me, a little bit outdated in comparison to its peers (although its peers curriculum needs some updating).

I want current student of the course in Uniben to confirm if it's the curriculum they're using or it has been updated. Here is the curriculum:

Many Nigerian universities actually teach S.E in final year and it's mostly just the 'fundamentals'. My issue with UNIBEN's curriculum is that it's just full with old languages.

It all boils down to powerplay.

For now, just have the basics and geddifuckout of d school.
