Sadly, only about 2% of them have been able to get appointed as lecturers, i thought of going back to school at one point for a second degree but at 22yrs of age and the first born in a family of 8 that has so much expectation on you, its certainly a tough decision. Therefore, i would love it if the more experienced guys here will be able to offer some sort of advice on career paths i could go into. Every response will be deeply appreciated by me and scores of other guys who are in the same shoes with me,

I can relate to ur worries. I will say,u shud keep an open mind wen looking out for job prospect. don't be too choosy as a starter.Give ur best at wat comes ur way. Importantly, be prayerful.

My thoughts

why do you think your future is bleak?
you're a graduate
you're serving - may b redeployed where you employer may want
to retain you?
you weathered all those years in school - so you know sth. about focus
things may turn out different someone may want to hire you
cuz you're a graduate and ignore the course you read -
and besides with a first degree you may be able to transition into
a "professional" course. money will be the issue then .
