I just finished reading my first book this year. Well it was technically a bit of a re'read- Halfway through I discovered I had read it when I was much younger about 10 -15 years ago.

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Took me about 3 days to finish. I am quite impressed with myself, something like this used to take me 3-4 weeks, I don't think I even finished it the first time.
Its a great Read drowning with life lessons, except I felt robbed of a "complete ending" but I guess that its one characteristic of a realistic story. Its sad to see an author try to force a conclusion when life shouldn't even care at all.

What are you reading at the moment? I welcome suggestions for my next read)
