I am planning on running a couple of nairaland ads for 2months, it would be my first time doing so, one thing that used to discouraged me was
the ad banners being quite small.
I usually use myself to judge. I've been on Nairaland for a some years and I don't think I've clicked up to 20 ads. Maybe it's just me so I want to find out from people that have done it before. What are your experiences

Youre right to ask, you can't use yourself to judge so many people visit nairaland as users or as guests. Nairaland ads are quite profitable, I've ran a few of them it's all about timing and what section you place them. What product/service are you selling if I may ask?

It helps to Know who you want to see you ads and tailor the ad to them. It's not necessary for it to be a related section. For example if you are selling used cars, placing it in the auto section is cool but you can also place in the business section.

"Need a car for your business? Tested and affordable cars are available at (your logo)"

There are some sections you hardly go wrong with because of the number of views, but it's still best to maximize the returns.

Some of my designs are below, the size doesn't matter, so long as the information is clear people would see it, the more they see it the more they remember. One time I needed something I remembered an ad I had already been seeing. Now I was the one searching the sections just to find it again.
