AC Milan season could be back on track following the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the San Siro.

The Italian side recruited the forward following thier struggle in the league.

Ibrahimović is widely regarded as one of the best strikers having won 31 trophies in his career. He has scored over 540 career goals, made his second return t9 Italy after he had played for Juventus, Inter and AC Milan during his first spell.





Ibrahimović began his career at Malmö FF in 1999, and signed for Ajax two years later.

Ibrahimović won a number of trophies including four consecutive Ligue 1 titles, and was the top scorer in Ligue 1 for three seasons at Paris Saint-Germain.

In 2016, he joined Manchester United on a free transfer and won the FA Community Shield, Football League Cup and UEFA Europa League in his first season.




Ibrahimović joined American club LA Galaxy in 2018. Two years later, he rejoined Italian club A.C. Milan.

Ibrahimovic has already started his goal scoring fiesta after he scored against Cagliari last week.

Milan are currently 10th on the league following the 2-0 win against Cagliari on Saturday.

"I remember arriving in this same spot many years ago. What matters now is that I'm back and I'm happy," Ibrahimovic told Milan TV in his first interview.

"I've always said this is my home and I'm finally back. I've played for other teams in my years, but finally I'm back and that's all that matters.

Asked if he had a message for the fans, who gathered in their hundreds at the airport to catch a glimpse of the star striker, Ibrahimovic added: "I'm back, finally. I'm eager to see the fans at San Siro, to make the stadium jump with joy again."
