When a former Director of Communications to an ex-president goes about deliberately fabricating tales which have zero factual basis, one can only wonder at the professional character of such an individual.

The antecedents of this fellow also will never do his credibility any justice, as he is fond of distorting facts on social media, when he actually ever mentions anything remotely close to the facts.

His pointblanknews.com blog is a well-known blackmailing tool in journalism circles with cases dating as far back as 2011, so this is not a recent development. One notable incident was when they tried to blackmail the wife of Sam Amuka, the publisher of Vanguard newspapers. Money actually exchanged hands and his accomplice , one Chinua-Ogwu, a dismissed police officer was later detained as investigations unfolded. Mrs Oyindamola Sam Amuka would later testify in court how they collected 4 million naira from her in order to quash a fabricated case. All this took place at State CID Panti, Lagos with the connivance of dubious police officers who were later dismissed or at large.

The same Chinua-Ogwu was also the pick-up guy when Jackson tried to dupe Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala after threatening to publish fake news about her ownership of a billion naira mansion in Abuja. Strangely enough he found his way into Jonathan’s government. That is a story for another day.

Jackson lives in faraway New York, but he continues to posture on Twitter like he is an appointed official inside Aso Villa. Believe him at your own peril. He cannot claim to be privy to any conversation during the VP’s visit, so how does he begin to ‘authoritatively’ sell us this bunch of hogwash?

The Supreme Court judgment was unanimous and the law has concluded on the matter. Peddling hearsay on Twitter will not get this brother anywhere near the corridors of power, to which he so desperately yearns to return. Anybody that has his contact should advise him to get a real job.

Joy Ugwu who was part of the planning committee also confirmed this on Twitter. "I was part of the team who received the VP Osinbajo when he visited Imo for the final rite of pastor Ebenezer Ewuzie.

"It is disgraceful that anyone would suggest that politics was discussed. Kindly let the grieving family members mourn their loss."

I've since come to believe that Jackson Ude is synonymous to blatant lies. A quick visit to his twitter handle will show a voracious attempt to smear the name of VP Osinbajo at every turn.

And herein lies one of my biggest problems with most of these naysayers. They reside outside the country and continually attempt to ignite and inflame people who can't see past their genjutsu. Pardon my Anime.

THE SOILED REPUTATION OF JACKSON UDE

Jackson Ude may be popularly known as the former communications director for ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, but his rise to the limelight started in close media circles as the King of “Smear Campaign”. Using his blog http://pointblanknews.com/, Jackson Ude, gained his reputation on the backs of innocent political individuals using blackmail, lies and false publications. He is also available for the right price to those who wish to use his services to sponsor false or biased content as was the case between he and the Orji Uzor Kalu family. He has currently enlisted VP Yemi Osinbajo as his current victim for ulterior motives, but he did not start today.

Back in 2009, he connived with one Mr. Steven Chunuwa-Ogwu, a police officer, to blackmail the wife of Sam Amuka the CEO of Vanguard Newspaper, Mrs Oyin Amuka in which they collected N4 million naira to squash a fabricated case. Mr. Steven, unhappy with how the N4 million should be shared, blew open the operation to Mr. Amuka while demanding his “own share”. They were later arrested and persecuted. Despite such development, Jackson still attempted to dupe Ngozi Okonjo Iweala after fabricating lies of her ownership of a billion-naira mansion in Abuja. He was abruptly sued by Mrs. Iweala, of which he then fled the country to USA. Currently, he is targeting the VP from abroad with false allegations hoping for cheap political attention. He neither works in the presidential villa nor was he at Imo state with Governor Ihedioha and the VP Yemi Osinbajo therefore his claim is a baseless lie. His desperate desire for political clout through lies and blackmail may only land him behind bars.
