Prayers Before Marriage;helpful Or Catastrophic? by Nobody: 7:57pm On Dec 06, 2010
I have been deliberating upon this for a long time .When someone goes to the pastor to tell him that he or she has found a suitable mate for marriage, then the first question that the man of God would ask is ''have you prayed to God concerning it? This has rendered some ladies hopeless and helpless. After the prayers, some ladies comes up with the idea that the Lord has revealed to them that the person in question is not their right partner.Sometimes, there are evil forces behind this. When a lady finishes such a prayer,an evil spirit might appear to her to tell her that the man is not the husband that God has prepared for her. This happens especially when there is an evil person who has vowed that he or she must not be alive to see such a guy or lady marry in life.Such an evil person might go as deep as providing such hallucinations.Besides, when you are in love with someone and is ready for marriage, even if you prays, the love you have for such a person must bring hallucinations which will make you think that God is actually the one speaking to you.Whatsoever the mind thinks about is what it will center on.Okay if praying to God b/4 marriage is effective, then what of unbelievers who neither knows God nor prays, yet they gets married and builds a happy family.
