Radio personality with Kpoko FM Warri, Michael Effiong charged artists to keep on pushing their songs. The gave out some advice on his Twitter account;

"Pushing your sound is a big key to your growth. Having good songs doesn't mean the song will become a hit. There are thousands of dead good songs that didn't go viral. There are songs that were hit but with no quality lyrics, no organized beat, no defined genre.
If you've the money to spend to push your sound, do it. Don't let anyone deceive you, the industry you see today is money oriented. The likes of bloggers, OAPs, content pushers, SM influencers, supposed A&R will like to take their cut when they want to push you. Play to the game with wisdom.Some of these mainstream artistes do pay this price to stay at the top.If you are graced then your sound will fly for free.But keep pushing your sound.
