HYT CONSULTING – Our client, in the iSAT industry, is currently recruiting suitable and qualified candidates for the position below:

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Will be required to install, maintain and repair the electronics systems and all equipment of the VSAT system
on merchant's vessels.
• Responsible to repair or replace wiring equipment or fixtures using hand or power tools.
• Examine the system of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures using testing devices such as
ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, etc., to confirm compatibility and safety of the system.
• Connect, monitor, control and configure networking equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faulty systems, apparatus or parts using equipment and hand tools to find the source of
any breakdown and correct the problem at hand.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment or parts to spot defects, any necessity for adjustment or repair, or any
hazards.
• Ability to work from shipboard ladders and scaffolds at heights above deck to install, maintain or repair
electrical wiring, equipment or fixtures.
• Prepare sketches and follow blueprints to inspect the placement of wiring and equipment and to confirm
correspondence to assembling and safety codes.
• Troubleshoot issues for clients, give recommendations for resolution; calculate and deliver estimates to
clients for repair, replacement, and installation solutions and repair/replacement recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum of school leaving certificate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Competencies Required
• The candidate is expected to have basic knowledge of satellite antenna positioning and installation.
• He should have good communication skill
• Ability to work within the delivery timeline.
• Good Customer service
