Good day to all programmers in the house, I want someone to explain the meaning of Algorithm and how it relates with programming. Simplified ansersa would be really appreciated

a step you direct program to follow to do a task or something.

assumming a rat is the programming language, how would you instruct a rat to turn on the standing fan.

step 1. check if there is light.
2. if there is light, plug fan cable to socket else come back and tell me no light.
3. if fan cable is plug, turn on the fan switch and report to me the fan is on.
algorithm is just a step you follow or tell something to follow to do something.

step 1. explanation - check if the light is on. the underlying programming already have a tool sometimes called a function to do that. just know the function that turn on the light and used it and you just perform step 1 of your algorithm.

my phone touch pad is faulty i should have type more.
