Community and state policing featured prominently in APC manifesto. This is the time to walk the talk. The president must resist all political and tribal considerations and support the effort of south western states to protect lives and properties. Insecurity is the biggest threat to national unity and this must be dealt with through collaboration between all tiers of government.
I see Atiku playing mind games here. Maybe he's trying to endear himself to South Westerners in preparation for another shot at the presidency. Deep down he might not be in support. I doubt he would have had this opinion had he emerged victorious in the last election.

Whatever it is, Amotekun is here to stay.

These governors are not well advised...they should have pressured their representatives in the national assembly to pass laws that allows state policing.
