Carefully selected judgement. Who voted for Hope Uzodinma in Imo State. Just because he claimed a vote that is not up to two hundred people and now he is a Governor. What do I even know. I will not cry for anybody until everybody starts crying for 1999 wicked Nigeria constitution (that is where all our problems are)

Supreme court simply added Uzodinma votes that were excluded. The other candidates didn't have any vote from any where to be added to their previous votes

Please do not blame his parents. They paid his fees, na im never go the school so he should apologize to himself.

I’m surprised by this comment of yours.

With your knowledge of how politics is mixed with religion in Nigeria, you should know that Buhari’s political antics are limited around the Sultan.

The Sultan of Sokoto is a very respected personality, and am sure he won't interfere in politics to warrant such treatment.

They don't understand that in law, black is not always black.

It is the way you present your argument that will convince the jury or judge to pass judgments in your favor.

But the emotions of these people will not allow them understand.

Please, stop it.

The Sultan of Sokoto is one of the most neutral prominent figures in Nigerian when it comes to politics.

And supposing he is not even neutral, Buhari can tamper with his choice and nothing will happen. If Sokoto breaks into a riot, the president will simply declare a state of emergency and soldiers will be everywhere do deal mercilessly with miscreants.

Just keep one thing in mind: the most prominent figure in the North presently is Muhammadu Buhari. His influence is comparable only to that enjoyed by Ahmadu Bello while he was alive. Not even the Sultan of Sokoto comes close to Buhari in terms of influence. And it has little to do with his position as president.

However, I still think it will have been much easier for Tambuwal election to be void than that of Ihedioha.
Fourth position later coming first is still a mystery to me.

So you really think it takes a few days to write a judgement that takes an average of 10 hours to read?

Not so my brother. Courts aren't influenced by "outcries". Courts base judgement on arguments and evidences presented before them.

Sometimes courts deliver judgements that may be seen as unpopular. But the law is the law.

Courts operate by the legal doctrine Fīat jūstitia ruat cælum.

Mind you Rochas won first with APGA before decamping to APC. After the present election APC has no governor from south east. im sure you know what the electoral law said concerning wining 25% from each region for presidential election. it will also interest you to know that i am from Imo state.

Breaking news! The national chairman of Pea Dea Pea and the national working committee rejected the supreme Court judgement that upheld the victory of Amin Tamb of the party . The Judiciary has been compromised and the judgement should be reversed in favour of Ape Pea Cee candidate.

Oh yeah the Genius.An election held in 388 polling units and all other candidates got zilch. Also with the allocation of those votes to the SC declared winner,the total number of votes now exceeded the accredited voters by over a 100k votes. Please can you shed more light to the dull students who can't comprehend this.

Pls u are misunderstanding the issue. No one said other candidates didn't get votes in those polling units, the story is, the votes scored by uzodinma were omitted by inec in the final result. INEC caused all this issue. Their position is that elections didn't hold in those polling units. If that was the case, why didn't they order a re-run because it would have affected the outcome of the elections. I heard the positions of learned lawyers this morning on Sunrise Daily on Channels TV, and it was obvious the Supreme Court made the right decision based on evidence before it

Facts also play a good role. When it is convenient you call people foolish for voicing your opinion. Somehow you decided the Imo governor didn't have good lawyers, and if he didn't what happened to positions 2 and 3 before position 4 was given the victory?

I pity some of you. Your affiliation to individual parties has eroded your sense of justice and fairness. Everything is a joke to you. How on earth did a sharia judge become CJN? You don't care! How did Buhari win his re-election? You don't care. How is Nigeria doing with the economy and security? You still don't care.
