In spite of the dynamic reforms that was introduced in the local government administration in Nigeria, local governments are still experiencing some problems that are contributing to its inefficiency some these problems will be comprehensively explain below. Below are the problems and challenges of the local government in Nigeria: 1. Political interference 2. Acute shortage of fund 3. Bribery and Corruption 4. Shortage of trained personnel 5.
