It has been gathered that Ibrahim Muhammad Tanko, the newly appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria did not have passes in both English language and Mathematics in his WEAC results. Many are therefore wondering how come he was admitted to study law at Ahmadu Bello University without credits in the core subjects before one can be considered for admission into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The statement of the CJN's WEAC result he presented before the Judicial Council and the Senate as an evidence that he was indeed admitted to study law only shows that he has three Credits and two Passes that is, C6 in Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK), C4 in History and C5 in Hausa Language and Pass in Arabic and Pass in Chemistry but F9 in both English Language and Mathematics as WEAC would not upload subjects in which candidates have F9 in their results as the case of Muhammad Tanko. It is a general knowledge in Nigeria that without at least credits in both English Language and Mathematics in WEAC not even passes, gaining admission into tertiary institutions is impossible. But the case of Muhammad Tanko left everyone suspicious. Some Nigerians, particularly those in the academia have already faulted the appointment of Tanko as the new CJN because of his inability to provide his primary school certificate. Tanko has publicly claimed that vicious termites ate his primary school certificate in his village in Bauchi State where he hails from. Reactions have these continued to trail the WEAC result of the CJN. Some Nigerians are suspecting fraud or malpractice in the education qualification of the man. Because of the sensitive position the man is holding, some Nigerians are calling for his sack in order to preserve the sanctity and sacred image of the Supreme Court, being the highest court in Nigeria. Opinion: Is it that we are fools in this Country or we are so backward that we can't appoint Highly qualified/ competitive Individuals into public Offices? Screenshots below

yarimo: How can someone with F9 in both English and mathematics gain admission to study Law in the great Ahmadu Bello University? That doesn't seem awkward to you, where people with "A' in both maths and English couldn't get admission. If someone can have F9 in the 80s when education is good, he's best considered a dull...d 10 Likes 2 Shares |

[s] yarimo:[/s]Stop supporting illegality and lawlessness because of blind political followership.Birds of the same plumage flocks together. An apple does not fall far from its tree. This is a man that passed this most controversial supreme court judgement that defies judicial and all known logic.Recall that the CJN suddenly recuse himself after doing this dirty job. We have an unprecedentedly total fascist takeover of the judiciary, the kind that compelled the Supreme Court to award nullified rigged votes to APC’s Hope Uzodinma even if by doing so the Supreme Court created an astonishing numerical incongruity where the Supreme Court’s final vote tally is now greater than the number of people INEC accredited to votehttps://www.farooqkperogi.com/2020/01/imo-judicial-abracadabra-and.html?m=1#.XiJ_Dz71hGU.twitter 1 Share

All the CJN and supreme court judges on the Imo debacle owe Nigeria is to humbly apologise & resign unless they continue to feign ignorance of what this senseless judgement have done to their already battered integrity. |

Tanko just came out of the Blues and became CJN? didn't he pass through the ranks? Who appointed him a judge at the Supreme Court? Was it Buhari? Why didn't those who made him first lawyer, and appointed him judge reject him due to his inefficiency in qualifications. If these past leaders and those saddled with appointment saw nothing wrong with his qualifications, why the cry now? May emotional politics not allow us to be foolish in life. MORNDEW |

The supreme court is supposed to be the highest gathering of the nation's wise men/women. Even is Tanko could not do basic 2+2, it behooves him to hire an expert to understand that you can't have 927k votes out of 823k accredited and registered voters. This country will takes years to recover from this non logic of basic facts. |
