Just wondering.

Akure is like a mini version of Ibadan, is there some visible friction?

Yes.

Akure warriors were instrumental in halting the Fulani and Yoruba Muslim invasion.

Akure is much older than Ibadan.

Ibadan only came into existence after the destruction of Oyo Ile - the ancient capital of the old Oyo empire that was destroyed by Muslim invaders.

Akure warriors liberated Oshogbo which was then occupied by Fulanis complete with their own Emir.

In modern times, Akure has always distanced itself from Ibadan politically and only steps in as a final caution of Ibadan foolishness.

This can be seen with Afenifere and Agbekoya who are rooted in Akure

No sarcasm please.

I need answers to the question.

Call older people if you younger ones are too hot headed.
