come to think of this, why is it that only the northern part of Nigeria is causing the greatest misery in the country. Boko Haram (north) , bandits (north) , FULANI herdsmen (north), ISWAP terrorist group (North), Islamic terrorists group (north) , child marriage( north), religious war ( north) shites terrorists group (north). the northerners does not want to progress and they don't want anybody to progress. 4 Likes |

mamaafrik: You are so smart! The worst thing happening to Nigeria now is the way tribalism is now being used in the fight against insurgency. I was so surprised to see reformed book Haram members eating apple, jollof rice and drinking bottled water while being ferried up and down in AC cooled buses. This suggests that there is a pool where the terrorists are being recruited by the Northern cabal. The last thing anyone would expect is a Nigerian Army university in Borno, but the greed of the North for the control of all military infrastructure is staring at us in the face. 3 Likes |

I agree that government should stop rehabilitation of repentant boko haram members, but it's wrong to say that they are being recruited into the army. BTW, sacking service chiefs is not the solution to this menace, boko haram has seen more than 30 service chiefs since 2009 and these current ones did far better than the previous ones. Nigeria does not have the capacity to defend it citizens properly, show me one nation with 200m people but spend less than 1 billion dollars on security, it is not even up to what SA of 50 million people spend on security annually. |

Their continuous stay as service chiefs in office including those who put them there simply portray our unseriosness , wickedness , shamelessness, gross irresponsiblity ,nepotism, backwardness, insensitivity, wastefulness and lack of accountability. May the innocent bloods of Nigerians wasted ,speak, fight and hunt every one that are directly or indirectly responsible for their wastage . 1 Like |

Southerners are very naive. We know nothing about Northern elite. Ideologically we are miles apart. Killing a Christian leader is something the vast majority quietly applaud. In fact there should be no Christian at all. Never mind their deceptive ways. They consider our Southern tolerance as weakness. They feel they are closer to Islamizing Nigeria than anytime since over-running Oyo Empire. RUGA will give them a militia based in bushes throughout Nigeria. That will be Boko Haram nationwide. Fulani Brigade Commanders nationwide will supply the militias weapons endlessly. If not why are Northerners s concerned about Amotekun? An outfit governors with security outfit of their own want to use to protect their people? Do they want Fayemi & Akerodulu to stand akimbo while their citizens are being killed, maimed and raped in bushes? Their goal is soon they will sponsor their people in Kwara, Kogi, Oyo & Osun to push for more Sharia stuff like Hisbah police. 1 Like |

Buhari doesn't know what's happening in his government. They should rather tell Abba kyari and daura. They're the ones in government but they'd never listen cos they know what they're doing |

AreaFada2:Did you read yesterday's paper? What if channelstv? Pick a paper and read because our people have moved steps further on amotekun. No going back Point of correction, fulani never ruined or runned oyo empire. They took over kwara due to lack of agreement and power tussle between two brothers, the leasom which yorubas have learned greatly for centuries. After realising this mistakes , we've remained ever united even till today and that's what you're seeing now. People make mistakes. Even since independence, yorubas might not have been presidents but we've always dictated who governs this country. We have always been ruling underground because they cant do without us. |

fairfora: As for Oyo Empire and Fulani, the history is well known. Remember that Ondo and other Yoruba tribes (there was no uniform Yoruba identity back then) came to the aid of Oyo. What there were many more Anfoja's back then? |

Sometimes I wonder if Buhari is a former general of the army. Cos it beats my imagination how insurgency could thrive unabated under this administration and in a region where the FGN had established 3divisions of the army. If I can say rightly, a division should be made up of 15,000 soldiers or more....multiply it by 3 and that's 45,000 soldiers fighting against the insurgency. I don't see how we would have that number of soldiers and yet the war is still not won. It shows there is more to it than what we see. Maybe it's all about politics. Imagine the president in UK asking for collaboration to rehabilitate the internally displaced persons in a war that is still on going. Why not ask for weapons to wipe them (Boko Haram) out completely before you talk of rebuilding and rehabilitating...instead of deploying soldiers to the war zone with just Ak47 riffle. 1 Like |

Story!. A nepotic and bigoted FG sacking his northern incompetent heads?. If it were occupied by other region, by now you would see fg fire newinewi, and replace with abdulwalahabilu. Yes we are suppose to leave ethnicity and do one Nigeria but the leaders are wonderful. Check all strategic position and their region. They only listen to miyeti allar. 1 Like |

I'm amazed they are saying this. Why do you think Sowore was kept in custody? Sowore said if hes made president he will retire all the service chiefs. Everyone knows the service chiefs are boko haram. CAN please say another thing. They are just cashing out BIG TIME with this insecurity issues. The p is, is there a truly God fearing man, be it Christian or Muslim that will replace them and fight this boko fight without getting influenced? When we see that man, we see a better Nigeria. |
