Real facts have emerged that the Supreme Court failed to do a thorough mathematical computation of the results of the election but relied only on the wrong computations submitted by Sen. Hope Uzodinma to declare him the duly-elected governor of Imo State.

It should be recalled that at the state’s Governorship Election Tribunal, Sen. Uzodinma had from pages 9 to 27 of his petition drawn up table of votes allocation which he claimed were the figures obtained from the duplicate copies of Forms EC8A handed over to his party agents at the 388 polling units where he claimed results were excluded from the overall result of the election.

From the table he compiled, there were 252,452 registered voters, who gave the APC 213,695 votes and 1,903 t o Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The table did not indicate the total number of accredited voters, nor the number of invalid votes and the votes allocated to the remaining 68 candidates that contested the election.
However, an analysis of the duplicate Forms EC8A tendered by PW54, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Rabiu Hussein, there were no fewer than six polling units where more votes were recorded over the registered voters.

For instance, on figure number 69 which indicated votes cast at Eziama/Okpala (Umualum Village Square, Eziama), the total registered voters was 492, whereas the table showed that the APC scored 819 votes and PDP, 7 votes, giving a total of 334 votes more than the registered voters, without including the votes allegedly polled by the other candidates at the election.

Also, at page 22 of the petition on polling unit 282, the registered voters was 591, whereas the tabulation showed that APC polled 586 votes and PDP 9 votes, with a total of 4 votes more than the total registered voters, not including votes scored by the other candidates.

Similarly, at the same page 22 of the record, polling unit 285 (Obudi/Aro, Central Assembly Square, Unusable 11) with 449 registered voters, APC was credited with 780 votes and PDP with 4 votes, providing a total of 335 votes above the actual total registered voters at the unit.

There is no fact from what you call fact. The first and most important fact (which you fail to know) is that the SC relied on the document presented by the police.

I don't think any sane need to be told that there are a lot of discrepancies in the supreme court judgement. But we have to move on. There judgement is final and there is nothing we can do about it. We can only complain till eternity and nothing will happen. Las las NIGERIA is a failed state.

Then it gives grounds to the fact that it was a clerical error of computation and should be revisited

PDP should be proscribed for always fraudulently reducing and even destroying our national institutions.

Medicine after death. What stopped you from canvassing this points at the Supreme Court when you had the chance? The record of appeal was with you all this while but you failed to look at it only to come now to use style to correct your mistake.

Why should they rely on documents provided by the police? Does the police conduct elections? For your information, the only body authorised to conduct elections in Nigeria is INEC. Their documents are the most authentic as far as election cases are concerned.

You don't canvas new points at the Supreme Court. The SC, and even the appeal court, relies on evidences and arguments made at the tribunal.

It's difficult to even start anywhere to explain anything to you. Try and read the whole judgement, it can greatly illuminate you.

Why Ihedioha Lost By Senator Onwe

“INEC did not contest the results emanating from those polling units one way or the other. The minority judgement computed the total results of Imo State gubernatorial election to include those omitted 383 polling units.

“This gave Uzodinma a majority of about 33,000 votes over Ihedioha. Furthermore, by excluding those polling units from Ihedioha’s results, he failed the constitutional requirement of attaining 25% of the votes in at least two-thirds of the local government areas in the state.

“The Electoral Act recognises results from only two sources: INEC and the Police. Police witnesses, giving them irrefutable authenticity, tendered the results from the 383 polling units.

“Ihedioha was declared a winner with a margin of victory lower than the excluded votes.

“Therefore, once you acquaint yourself with the facts of the case, the evidence presented and match them against the stipulations of the law, you will come to a rational conclusion,” Senator Onwe stressed.

1. According to you, INEC is the only body authorized to conduct elections in Nigeria and their results are the authentic results, but INEC did not dispute the results provided by the plaintiff and INEC and Ihedioha did not produce their own so called authentic results to counter the one produced by the plaintiff.

Have you asked yourself why INEC and Ihedioha did not produce their own results to counter the Plaintiff's results? Why? What were they hiding or afraid of?

Based on the above, your point is mute and dead on arrival.

2. According to the Nigerian electoral act, only 2 authorities are allowed to keep election results, INEC and the Nigerian police.

Based on the above, you point that the SC shouldn't rely on evidence of the Nigerian Police is mute and dead on arrival.

3. Is it not pointless and redundant to keep arguing and shouting about fake results and authentic results when the defendants, INEC and Ihedioha refused to produce their own sets of evidence and results to prove their case with?

You people need to come up with better, sane and rational argument.

INEC did not counter APC’s claim with any evidence, witness

The full judgment substantiates the claim that PDP called only one witness while INEC neither called a witness nor tendered any documents to challenge the appeal.

“Although they relied heavily on the assertion that Exhibits PPP1 – PPP366 were fake, no evidence was adduced to prove the assertion at all, let alone beyond reasonable doubt. The respondent failed to produce the ‘genuine’ results as pleaded.”

In another section of the judgment, Justice Kekere-Ekun state that INEC “failed woefully to tender the results it termed ‘genuine’, which would have rebutted the presumption of regularity in favour of the documents” tendered by the APC.

INEC did not challenge the results produced by the plaintiff

INEC did not produce their own original results or call any thinness?

Ihedioa and his lawyers did not produce their own results or evidence to counter the plaintiff's results.

Obviously, INCE and Ihedioha colluded to rig, but their rigging and evil deed caught up with them and they lost woefully.
