On 29 July 1967, Nzeogwu - who had been promoted to the rank of a Biafran Lt. Colonel - was trapped in an ambush near Nsukka while conducting a night reconnaissance operation against federal troops of the 21st battalion under Captain Mohammed Inuwa Wushishi.

One of the 5 majors that led the coup. Major ifeajuna totally failed in Lagos. The coup was only successful in the north.

He did not do anything that did not happen in most countries in Africa. There were coups all over Africa in the 1960's and 70's, hardly any country in Africa escaped it. But African countries like Egypt and Ghana, bounced back from coups and became successful economic and democratic stories.

Nigeria went on to conduct multiple coups went down the drain

poorly executed coup. One can easily blame the poor communication infrastructure in the country then. But how did ifeajuna fail who didn't he execute.

What are Igbos doing different today to what Kaduna Nzeogwu etal did many decades ago? Nada.

They are still hateful, clannish and even more full of the mean-spirited and demonic wickedness that led Nzeogwu to butcher the leaders of other and spare his kinsmen only for Igbos to jubilate and dance over that development.

They do exactly same today saving all their vitriol and toxicity for Tinubu, Osinbajo et al while they have nothing to say about their own Igbo leaders who happen to be worst in Nigeria.

Igbo can never change. Pathologically unfair and wicked people.

Rubbish. Are you comparing educated Igbos to Fulani bandits, terrorists and vagrant herdsmen militants? Fulani savages, almajiri, illiterates and barbarians will of course do what they do.

What is the excuse of you educated Igbos who sit online daily to insult Yorubas and what is the validation of Kanu and IPOB for doing same relentlessly ?

How many Fulani professors and educated men/women do you see obsessed with attacking and denigrating Yoruba people and their leaders daily as Igbos do?

Why dont you compare Igbo intelligentsia class to Boko Haram then since you love dumb comparisons?

It is not for nothing that it led to a Civil War.

The Jan 15 1966 Coup was the bloodiest in Africa at that time.
That was why it lead to a Civil War.

That is precisely what I am getting at yet Igbos who continue to live in denial are talking about Fulani militant killers who are largely uneducated vagrants and graduate almajiris.

Are they the sort Igbos should be comparing themselves to instead of explaining why they alone, of the over 300 ethnic groups in Nigeria, host professors and educated men/women who are online daily insulting Yorubas and their leaders while saying nada about their own misrulers and miscreants?

Is that not exactly what the educated Kaduna Nzeogwu, Ojukwu etal did back then with Kanu and IPOB picking up the baton of hate today?

I do support Biafra and would be happy to see it become a reality even this very second because I know that Nigeria cannot thrive hosting divisive and hateful enemies -within and saboteurs who call themselves Biafrans while carrying Nigerian passports.

With Igbos gone that will be one less headache for Nigeria and the rest of us will know how to then face each other going forward.

Dont worry bruv. The old boys are the ones attached to the one Nigeria BS. My generation will give you Biafra fast. Never beg anyone who does not want to stay to remain with you. That is my life motto. I just dont understand why our old generation of Nigerian politicians cannot appreciate this simple concept.

M0r0n. Who is justifying Fulani killings? Point is that if Igbos want to compare themselves to uneducated savages then that just shows how dumb you guys are in general.

Fact is that it is Igbos, of all the over 300 ethnic groups of Nigeria, who have formalised the peddling of hate speech and hate-mongering against other Nigerians. Especially Yorubas.

That you are not at the level of Fulani barbaric killers is nothing to be proud of because Igbos unenviously and solely occupy the position of being the ethnic group that host by far the largest number of educated hate speech mongers in Nigeria. Does IPOB and Kanu have equals in Nigeria other than Boko Haram and Shekau?

Only a question of time before you lot start attacking others.

Those you call uneducated savages are mere tools in hands of The Fulani ruling class, The docility of Yoruba people and their leaders have emboldened these schemers up north, Any Igbo attacking yoruba is simply frustrated at their lack of foresight, the north has a plan and will see it through unless matched pound for pound by the south, Unfortunately Yoruba people only has their eyes on ruling the country cos their competition is Always with IGBOs.....We shall all see

You Igbos are just irritatingly dishonest. Always making uneducated excuses rather than admitting you have a problem with how you host a disproportionately large number of educated hate-mongers in comparison to other Nigerian ethnic groups.

Nothing justifies kiling but illiteracy predisposes to it.

Yes illiteracy is linked to violent crime like murder and hate-mongering. Uneducated and deprived Fulanis can at least attribute this as a causal link.
Many Boko Haram terrorists are illiterate. Fact. Easier to brainwash them to hate others and take their lives. Fact.

What is the excuse of Igbos for hosting even Professors who are champion bigots and hate-mongers if it is not in the blood? What is Kanu and Igbos excuse for their numerous hate speech against the Yorubas most Igbos dance and jubilate to?

You guys should just learn to leave Yorubas and their leaders alone. Go and hate on your own woeful and wicked leaders and miscreants. Nonsense.

Illiterate people are more likely to commit violent crimes, says study

Abu Dhabi: Illiterate people are more likely to commit violent crimes such as homicide, sexual assaults, arson and robbery, a new study has found.

The study, conducted by the Centre for Research and Studies at Abu Dhabi police, established a clear link between illiteracy and criminal behaviour, saying that the rate of such crimes are nearly double among the illiterate population.

But what stops you guys showing you really want your own Country than moving all Igbos to the SE and staying there? Does charity not begin at home?

Why are you shouting Biafra from UK, USA, Canada, Isreal, Germany, Russia, South Africa, Namibia, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon and the hundreds of nations worldwide Igbos are voluntarily dispersed in with no interest in returning to the Biafran heartland of SE Nigeria?

Igbos excuse is always "they don't want to let us go". What efforts are you making to go? Living in the land of others and raising your kids with their tongue and ways is captivity and "not letting you go" ba?

Self-delusion is a serious condition nothing can cure. It is what most Igbos suffer from and the reason Biafra will never come to be even as some of us wish it were here so some people can understand the saying " be careful what you wish for".
