The last census was in 2006. That’s 14 years ago. The next census was supposed to happen in 2016 but the current administration passed on it.

There is a lot of false data and statistics circulating about Nigerian population.

All of them are just estimates and guess work.

Why has Nigerian government refused to conduct a census.

If Nigeria should ever conduct another census, it must include:

1) ethnicity
2) state of origin
3) state of residence
4) religion

The excuse given for taking away those things in the previous census doesnt hold.

Me self tire oh . No census nothing, I was one of the EO back then in 2006.

Lalasticlala I think this needs to be discussed. This is not normal.

How can the largest population and economy in Africa not have a census for 14 years.

Even far much poorer countries have census.
