#JusticeForChima Port-Harcourt Black Wednesday Campaign Takes Over Internet Space

The last has not been heard on the gruesome murder of an auto mechanic and technician who died in police custody and his colleagues who are currently detained in prison by the Nigerian police in Port-Harcourt. The issue is taking a centre stage as the Rivers state Coalition of Civil Society Organisations RIVCSO’s held an international press briefing on 27th January to press for the release and freedom of the incarcerated four and justice for the death of Mr. Chima Ikwunado.

Today 29th has been declared a BLACK WEDNESDAY by the same coalition of civil societies in the state and three hashtags #JusticeForChima #FreeIkoku4 & #EndPoliceBrutality has been put out online to call for solidarity from the public to press for the unconditional release of those in detention and for a proper investigation on the death of Chima Ikwunado and for Justice to be served in the case.
