PDP has become so much a useless party

First they went to report to US consul

YES, just the way Sarakiand his co-losers senators lost their seats when they defected from APC to PDP. YES, they all lost at the polls, so PDP should wait till next election and defeat the defectors at the polls.

well he has proven he is really a comedian.

He has lost all the respect he has in Imo state.
shame on him

Oga, shut up and eat your respect. No one knows you in PDP and you're a nobody.

When PDP lost Imo, what did PDP leadership do to rally Imo PDP members together? Nothing.

The First rule of politics is loyalty but that's the least rule in the Nigerian political hegemony.

Every party apart from the Nigerian constitution, needs to have their own constitution that can bind and unseal.

There should be an avenue, created as a clause in inec constitution that makes it difficult for elected party members to cross carpet without a cause.

It is a bad omen for democracy for some clogs to leave a party that gave them a platform to another Reining party in less than two weeks such a Reining party clings power.

This is a serious set back to democracy. We can never have better politicians if such persists. And the resultant negative effect is directly proportionate to the progress this nation will have.

This is the correct position of the law but the supreme court has so lost credibility that they abeted this illegality many times by ruling with flimsy excuses to allow defectors

Everywhere in the world when a candidate is elected in a political platform and decides he can no longer champion the visions of that platform on which the electorates chose him, the law has always been trite that they resign and a bye election. They can then present the vision of the new party to the electors and see if they can be returned on the new platform

Here our politicians do whatever they like to con their electorates

The Law, please give us the Supreme Court judgment on the bolded.

But Saraki decamped to PDP and didn't lose his seat na.

Or you are suffering from short memory?
Can you guys for once say something reasonable.

Defecting under a party they got you into office is never a right move whether APC or PDP.

You just betray those people you voted for you.

Tomorrow these same people will cross over again. Indiscipline and lack ideology

You are just being sentimental here. The problems of Nigeria is not with our political parties but our politicians. I see no diff between APC and PDP

But when others from other party defected to PDP when Ihedioha was acting governor, PDP welcomed the move.

Igbos will masturbate on this thread.

PDP should first vacate Nigeria before telling someone to vacate his seat. How many senators, Reps or even Kwara state Houses of Assembly members that vacated their seats when the whole state house elected on the platform of APC decamped to them in 2018?

They should write Donald Trump to inform him.

Or go to street of Abuja and protest... Werey gan ni

Best comment of the year. Exactly what I have been saying. Our problems are not political parties, but rather the politicians running the parties and the gullible people willing to kill and die for them. Nothing more, nothing less

The Nigerian constitution expressly forbade cross carpeting expect the party is in crises

Defectors have been variously taken to court in the past to force them to lose their seats. A celebrated case was when the nPDP members joined APC in 2014.

The Supreme court was complicit in our current imbroglio by ruling rascally in a case that experts believe was compromised

Since then it has become common to see politicians easily follow the money without a recourse to the electorates that elected them

Story.... all of you are looking for your pocket.. ndiala dem, saraki didnt step down why hould they step down. If you come for equity, come with clean hands. That one that suppose to sign election reform bill and ensure once you defect, you loose the seat into law, he is there doing school excursions to different countries. Spits..
