A Fruit is a seed bearing structure of a flowering plant formed from the ovary after flowering which are sweet, edible, and soar in the raw states.

Regular consumption of fruit is generally associated with reduced risks of several diseases and
functional declines associated with ageing.

In ancient time human were design to be fructiferous in nature( only fruit feeders) as early humans lived in rain forest where fruit were readily available year in year out and up to this moment are still commercially valuable as human food, eaten both fresh and as jams,
marmalade and other preserves. Fruits are also used in manufactured foods (e.g., cakes,
cookies, ice cream, muffins, or yogurt) or beverages, such as fruit juices (e.g., apple juice, grape
juice, or orange juice) or alcoholic beverages (e.g., brandy, fruit beer, or wine). Fruits are also
used for gift giving, e.g., in the form of Fruit Baskets and Fruit Bouquets.

General Benefit

* invariably there is increasing evidence that consumption of whole foods of fruit are more effective in treating and reducing the risk of cancer related diseases than specific vitamin and mineral supplements.

* The highly presence of fibre in most fruits makes one fill full to avoid over eating which is a tool to unhealthy living.

* When fibre ferment in the large intestine, butyrate chemical is produced, blocking the action of gene produced by cancer cell.

* Fruits are abundant in water, which cleanses and revitalized the body system.

* Indigestion problem can be solved by sufficient and adequate intake of fruit as they contain large amount of digestive enzyme.

* Different coloured fruits, especially orange, red and yellow fruit, contain carotenes (Vitamin A) which are also thought to assist in immune function.

* Fruits are enormous in vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals. Vitamins such as vitamin C and E and different phytochemicals may reduce the risk of cardiovascular conditions.

* Reasonable intake of minerals such as Potassium and magnesium found in fruit have also been linked to lower blood pressure.
