Following the ban on tricycles and motorcycles in Lagos State. There has been various reactions from all and sundry on its implications.

However,it is important to look at the possible solution to this ban. The Lagos State government can introduce shuttle buses in non major roads to ease movement of people around. This will be helpful for those that does not have cars and mostly especially for the old people.

Furthermore, the shuttle bus will also be helpful for children going to school or for pregnant women.

By and large, a well regulated shuttle bus system can be a better alternative for motorcycles and tricycles in Lagos State. The shuttle can be allowed in the same way BRT system was introduced.

The government can't provide just shuttle Lal in a day.

I stand with Lagos in respect to providing world class transportation system but the government needs to take it easy.

These buses won't come in a single day, rather than seize these people's livelihood, it should be done in stages and not rushed. If all bikes and Keke are phased out let's say today, can the government single handedly bear the burden of transportation single handedly

Please government is for the people not against it. The rancour on how the government overnight seized thousands of bikes and initiated a swifg ban is anti-democratic and very militralistic

Governor Sanwo Olu be guided please

In Abuja when the similar ban came into effect 2 months ago many kabukabu took over the routes of the keke and okadas. The FCT authorities also provided more buses
