Why is President Muhammadu Buhari afraid of sacking the Service Chiefs and replacing them with new ones with zeal and desire to tackle the insecurity crisis in the country?

Even the National Assembly headed by Buhari's people that APC approved, Lawan and Gbajabiamila has recommended that the Service Chiefs be sacked, yet the President is not bothered.

Does the President know something that Nigerians don't know or are they serving his agenda?

No need sacking them...

Buhari and Osibanjo should sack themselves. Both are what we call tragedy and failure.

My theory is, Buhari is keeping the service chiefs, who have failed in their duty, out of self-preservation.

He is prioritising loyalty over competence because he still sees the wraith of the 1985 coup in which he was deposed.

Boko Haram can sack the entire north-east, but the president will still keep the security chiefs.

He considers any threat to his office of far greater concern than any threat to the lives of Nigerians.

There you have it ...

As the saying goes, you cannot give what you don’t have.

This is not a matter of politics, religion or ethnicity.

The current leadership has offered their best which has mostly resulted in worsening outcomes including the polarization of the nation across different fault lines.

It is true that we have some unscrupulous citizens willing to capitalize on lapses and what have you to cause pain and sorrow to others but truth be told, effective, proactive and patriotic leadership would have galvanized the forces of good and mobilization of strategic national ingredients necessary to nurture or engender a positive future for the country.

Unfortunately what we have been seeing is idiotic statements and mostly unproductive efforts of a government that is widely seen as nepotistic and terribly slow.

I hope Nigerians will never make the mistake of electing any Pre-independence era folks who have continued to drag the nation many years backward with their satanic prejudices, egos and parochial sentiments.

And we must realize that destructive religious sentiments and ethnic bias does not, has never and will never build a country.

I think he is just scared, he so much trust this set of guys even though it's obvious they aren't doing the job well. He doesn't want new set who might overthrow him, very selfish mentality.

Boko haram, has seen three presidents and more that 30 service chiefs, yet, the problem persists.

If you think the sack of service chiefs or even Buhari himself would solve these problems, then you do not know what we are dealing with!!

It's simply because they are the best hands to promote his evil agenda. Even if he's to sack these guys, he'll still replace them with their ilks

Because he knows that the secret of the influence of Islam over his regime will be exposed, as core Muslims will lose out from service chiefs.
Buhari, judiciary, legislature, security, finance, and all meaningful political positions are currently being enjoyed by Islam. That's the supreme reason
