Forgive my ignorance but I need clarification. When you want to fund your dollar account, is it not to transfer to the Bank in naira and they will use their bank rate to convert it for you?

Sorry bro, haven't delved into options simply because I know I must do enough knowledge gathering before venturing.
Time is a big constraint for me.
BTW you sound like an options pro.

For a dollar account called Domiciliary Account.
You will have to source for physical dollars ...
on your own....
For example .......
Some source from Aboki Mallams ard airport environs....or BDC guyz... etcc
U then visit the bank...
And deposit dollars (in cash) into your account.

Evening my Ogas. Is Good Faith Violation applicable to Trading212, also what is the commission on buying, selling, deposit and withdrawal?
Thinking of moving to them for longterm investment.

Your efforts tell me you will amount to much in this business if you maintain the focus.
Don't be scared to ask any question.
We are here for this purpose: wealth creation via knowledge sharing as we deepen the investment acumen of our teeming masses.
America, China and India are minting millionaires every moment. It is not by accident. There is a deliberate attempt to empower the people. America has over 3,000 mentoring units. We have nothing!
But we will try in our little way.

We all at one point of the other might have heard about Bitcoin, and other coins.
Bitcoin keeps getting more values daily.
If you have patience, tolerance and remain focus then you can trade Bitcoin and make cool cash.
I have been doing Bitcoin trades since 2017 and right now I have decided to teach others since we are in the tech world.
I will host a class on WhatsApp and after the class you will also get a Free Ebook for further knowledge. We shall use Binance for trades.
If you're interested then chat me up on WhatsApp via +15173121624

Newbies before you act on other people's recommendations or trades ask questions. Know what group they belong too, know why they are buying and selling, does it make sense to you considering what your own investment objective is, have an understanding of the risk. Ask questions before taking another person's recommendations

The person that brought me back to the stock market, i stopped listening to him in thereafter because he speculates a lot with people's fund. He even encouraged me to buy a dead stock that i later sold for over 50% loss thereafter. He lost the respect I had for him when it comes to investing.
In 2019, he blew up all his capital and now he doesn't have any money in the market other than the money of his client. When he ran out of money, he contacted me to buy one of his property in Dec at cost price because he needed cash.
This is what happened when people invest without doing due diligence. I shouldn't be writing this but I have to so that newbies can learn.
People are better off in the long term investing in dividend paying and fundamentally sound stock.

I am starting to understand the way the market thinks. The market was expecting security issues today right? So it turned red.

PART 5 - The concluding chapter
Another pay day had arrived and as usual practice for Shina, he set aside a planned percentage to fund his investment practice. He was getting pretty good at investing.
Since he had invested in Sandra farms and had read books about investing, his confidence and investing prowess has increased. He was now adept at looking at financial statements and deciphering wheat from chaff. With dedication and practice, anything can be achieved.
The dividends he had received from Sandra farms and other companies had been carefully invested. His funds were now growing via compound interest which has been termed as being the 8th wonder of the world.
The only regret he had was that he hadn't started much earlier. The best time to plant an oak tree is 100 years ago. The next best time is today. If one compounds N100,000 at 10% annually for 10 years, it grows to over N250,000 without adding an extra kobo to the initial sum.
What could be achieved by investing larger sums for longer periods or at a higher annual compounding rate while regularly adding to the pool from one's savings can only be left to one's imagination!
Shina told everyone that cared to listen about compound interest. Unfortunately, many were more interested in get-rich-quick schemes which promised huge returns but almost always ended with hot tears for "investors".
Whenever he wanted to sell or buy more shares, all he had to do was to buy via his stockbroker in the stock market. The stock market is where shares of various companies are bought or sold daily.
This interaction between buyers and sellers of shares leads to demand and supply forces which eventually dictate the price of each share of various companies.
Shina might not have started 100 years ago but he knew he was now well on his way towards creating lasting wealth. Knowing this made all his effort worth the while.
LESSONS YOU SHOULD HAVE LEARNT
1. You'll need a stock broker to buy shares on the stock exchange.
2. Compound interest, when put to work, will generate exponential returns for you. The earlier you start, the better the returns.
3. Investing, even in stocks, does not always end happily ever after. Its not too late to start learning.

Absolutely agree with you sir....
We have on here recommendations as follows:
1. Long-term Trading
2. Day Trading
3. Swing Trading
As you mentioned, I would recommend our new entrant to start by investing in fundamentally strong stocks for long term, at least for a start.
Once they understand the market performance and technicalities, they can dabble into the other aspects.
Wishing us all the best.
