6 By second century B.C, Chinese already discovered that blood circulated throughout the body and heart pumped the blood. This fact wasn't discovered in Europe until the early 7th century by William Harvey (1578–1657).

7 Paper was discovered in China. The oldest piece of paper was found in China and dates back to 2nd or 3rd century B.C. In ancient China Paper was so durable that it was sometimes used for clothing and even light body armor.

8 The "Three Gorges Dam" in China is the largest dam and concrete structure in the world. It's so large it reduces the rotation of the earth. When the dam is at its maximum, the reservoir holds 42 billion tons of water. A shift in mass that size does affect Earth, increasing the length of a day by 0.06 microseconds.

9 The longest traffic jam in history happened in august 2010 in Shanghai, China. It stretched over more than 100kms and lasted For 12 days. The vehicles moved at a bizarre speed of 2 miles per day.

10 The “Lion City” is an entire city in China that has been flooded under a lake in the 20th century. It was built over 1000 years ago and is preserved in almost perfect detail to this day.
