Ajimobi really offended so many people during his time as Oyo State Governor. The party lost the state solely because of his arrogance and careless manner of talking. However, the position of the deputy national chairman of APC is a big one. It is not a position that can be occupied by an ordinary party member. The party needs someone with huge clout and popularity to occupy the position and I think that is why Asiwaju is pushing for Ajimobi.

Ajimobi, the only APC Senator that didn't win his Senatorial Zone in the 2019 National Assembly Election.

One major highlight i can vividly remember about Ajimobi was when he was addressing protesting LAUTECH students, absolutely he told them "You people don't have respect for constituted authorities."

Ajimobi political career is back to the scratch.. imagine a sitting governor loosing a senatorial seat and he happens to be the only candidate that lost between APC aspirants, he actually did well with infrastructures and few things but bad mouth was the catalyst of what brought him and APC down in oyo state..
After loosing the senatorial seat, he still went ahead to arrest his tenant claiming they didn’t vote for him.
