Hello,

As part of giving back to the society, if you can form a group and arrange a venue, I want to take you from zero to hero on C# and .Net core. I realise that most people don't know how to approach or break down a problem when confronted with a task (requirement gathering, analysis and design). This is where the journey to programming start. When given a task, you don't need to start writing codes or start thinking about how to write the codes. That's a bad approach. You must learn to break the problem down.

The training will teach u about this, design patterns, design principles, C# , . Net core (Mvc and Web API), Linq and .Net Core EF.

This is a course that can't be done online. We need physical presence and it comes Free. So it's up to you. Arrange yourself in group, find a venue and just invite me to come in. That's all. I'm starting from Ibadan though. If you are interested, indicate interest here.

You are free to ask ANY questions about it here.

For this training, zero knowledge will be assumed

MT thanks for this initiative.
I am really interested in this , but pls you can do it here step by step so that those interested will follow, just like the one on web design.
While I appreciate the fact u want it to be a one on one course, do remember, those interested might not reside in the same state/city with you, pls reconsider & carry out this training online where it can be accessible even in 50yrs to come. Pls bro, thanks

Well, this is intended to be an end to end training that will cover almost every stage of SDLC extensively. Let us see how many people show interest here before I can make up my mind if we can attempt to deliver online.

I will wait till Saturday if we can see people who are GENUINELY interested in learning how to approach C# and .NET Core. It all comes FREE as it is a mean of empowering people. That is the least I could do to assist.

If you are interested, drop your Whatssap numbers as we will form a group where assignment will be delivered. We are going to build a practical solution to demonstrate these technologies. It is also going to answer WHY we are doing certain things in certain ways. Like I earlier said, it is up to you to determine if this is an opportunity you wish to explore.

I have been persuaded to deliver the content ONLINE.

Thank you.

Just to drop this, C# and .NET framework is quite different from many programming languages. It is only Java that I can use to compare to it in term of performance as it is incredibly fast, powerful with one of the biggest libraries that you can think of. It is also backed up by the almighty Microsoft. Before, you could only host application developed by C# or VB on windows server, but that has changed now with the introduction of Kestrel - a powerful server that can be hosted on an operating system.

.NET Core is a beast and Microsoft has rolled out 3 distinct architectural design - ASP.NET MVC Core, Razor Pages and Blazor. Each of these serve different purposes and they can all be mixed together in a project to achieve your purpose. But before you take a dive into this, you need to understand System Analysis and Design. You cant code effectively if you dont understand or how to to interprete domain problem. So the class will start without any code. It will make you understand what you need to do when you are first confronted with a problem. Once you master this, trust me, you can pick up any new language today and be effective with it because you would have known what you are meant to do and just go straight into the part of the language that will enable you to do that.

To be an effective and efficient programmer requires dedication and tenacity, but it all starts with knowing how to break down a problem scenario into bit and pieces. Like I use to ask, how do u eat an elephant?...You kill and dice it into small parts. This is the approach that the world is looking at and that is why component-based development is the new shiny kid in town. Going into .Net Core is steep and you have to be ready to see it through. Someone says I can achieve anything I wish to do in .NET core with any other languages but when we are talking about enterprise application development, there are many things you need to consider. You drive a Toyota , another person drive Ferari, both will take you to your destination but I guess you can spot the difference in performance. Thats it!

If a certain student A starts to learn PHP for instance and a student B starts to learn C# and .NET Core. at the same time. Student A will start to be productive almost immediately but it will take student B more time to learn, but...i repeat..but when student B gets handle on .NET Core, he will zoom off in such a way student A can not catch up. I will demonstrate this with a lot of examples!

Are you still ready to fly? Let me know..... *Apologies for any typo, I just wrote this on the move*
