INTRODUCTION

The word 'Corona' is from a Latin word which means "Crown" the likelihood of the Virus has first been discovered in 2002 from a Civet cat which cause pneumonia and was named SARS - Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome also in South Korea in 2015, the virus was also discovered through Camel and was named MERS - Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and 2019 CoronaVirus was first discovered in Wuhan, the capital city of China.

MEANING

CoronaVirus are group of various Virus which are zoonotic in nature that is a virus that can be transmitted from animal to human.

The 2019 corona Virus has only affected people in China and has not gotten to any part of Africa or Europe.

Recently the WHO has named it Covid-19

CAUSES

The Virus is generally believed to have originated from animals.

The likely causes of the virus are through, milk, undercooked meat, seafood, air open market, wild meat, urine, feces or even mucus.

SYMPTOMS

The virus has 14 days incubation before maturity to unveil its symptoms this makes it difficult to isolate and quickly give special treatment to the infected in 2019 and it can spread from one carrier to another during the incubation period.

The symptoms of the Virus are flu-like which includes:
- Fever
- Cough
- Vomiting
- Shortness of breath
- Organ failure
- Runny nose
- Death

PREVENTIONS

- Wash your hand with soap for 20 seconds
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with tissue
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched object and surface

CURE

They have been using the Vaseline meant for Similar virus Ebola on infected but recently the UK scientists have discovered a Vaseline to help reduced the outbreak of the Virus which is under experiment with a Mice.
