*HIV/AIDS and CBD*

When discussing HIV and AIDS, it’s crucial to understand that these two conditions represent separate viruses and symptoms. However, they are often discussed in unison due to their interconnected properties.

*The Differences Between HIV and AIDS*

*HIV, or human immunodeficiency virus*, is a type of infection that attacks the immune system and hinders the body’s ability to ward off viruses effectively. This disease is often acquired through contact with the bodily fluids of another infected individual.

*AIDS, or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, * is the most advanced stage of the HIV infection. An individual with AIDS may suffer from an extremely impaired immune system with little ability to ward off common parasites, viruses and bacterial infections.

When HIV occurs, the virus attacks and kills off the essential CD4 cells, a crucial component of the immune system that wards off infections.

As HIV progresses into AIDS, the effects can become life-threatening.

*Side effects include:*

Mouth ulcers
Night sweats
Fever
Swollen lymph nodes
Loss of appetite
Weight loss
Memory loss
Mood disorders

The severity and manifestation of these symptoms will often depend on the length of time a patient has the HIV or AIDS virus.

Although there is currently no cure for HIV or AIDS, finding the right treatment plan can help patients manage their symptoms and live a healthier life.

*CBD Oil Will manage the following Symptoms of HIV/AIDS‼*

*Pain* – HIV presents itself as pain in all parts of the body including joints, nerves and muscles. The pain can be mild, medium or very bad but the CBD oil immediately took the edge off this pain. The cannabinoids in the CBD oil work with the body’s endocannabinoid system which regulates the immune system. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a great pain reliever which hinders the transfer of pain messages to the brain.
The cannabinoids relieve HIV patients of nerve pain, tingling and burning feelings and chronic pain which they were treating with pain killers. Using CBD oil replaces the need to use opioids, and has no side effects.

*Nausea* – HIV patients reported that CBD oil relieved their nausea symptoms which are caused by various disorders of the central nervous system and digestive system. HIV patients who used CBD oil found that they could continue using their anti-retroviral therapies more easily. CBD oil is known to cure nausea and vomiting symptoms in other illnesses and in patients who are on chemotherapy.

*Appetite* – CBD oil is a great stimulant of appetite which HIV patients need. They tend to lose lots of weight and do not want to eat. When taking CBD oil to help with their HIV symptoms, patients felt so much better and their appetites increased. This meant they put on weight and their immune system got that bit stronger.

*Moods* – HIV patients often feel depressed and anxious and CBD oil is a known healer of these symptoms. Cannabinoids cling to receptors in the brain which enhance moods and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. The main endocannabinoid receptor is the CB1 receptor which is found in the brain and right through the nervous system. Most depressions are linked to chemical disparities in the brain and originates in the nervous system. Depression is made worse when the endocannabinoid system is out of balance and the patient feels moody and cannot sleep, cannot eat and has low energy levels.

*Peripheral neuropathy *– a form of pain associated with HIV when one or more nerves in the peripheral nervous system (outside of the brain and central nervous system) are harmed and cause pain and twitching or loss of muscle and coordination.
CBD oil can relieve these symptoms and is a known reliever of inflammation, neural pain and general pain.

*What is CBD OIL?*

Here's a short answer...

CBD oil is extracted from the Hemp plant which is part of the Cannabis family but which does NOT give you a "high" or "drug induced state" like Marijuana which is a different species of the same Cannabis plant.

CBD has been found to be purely medicinal - it interacts extremely well with our human endocannabinoid system
and has been used for many Centuries for its healing properties.

The Hemp plant is only now becoming accepted and made popular by the mainstream medical community, such as Dr Sanjay Gupta of CNN, who have finally admitted that the CBD oil is highly beneficial and effective in dealing with many ailments and conditions that affect the human body.

Interestingly, CBD oil is safe as a herbal nutritional supplement for children as well as animals (especially domestic pets like dogs)! We have seen amazing testimonials that they have all been able to benefit from CBD oil as well.
