Vigilante groups like like Anambra vigilante group (AVG), Imo vigilante, Forest guard in Enugu have all being existing before the Amotekun saga. I don't why people are getting worked up?

If the East wants, they can all rename the various groups in the state to whatever name they deem fit and seek interstate collaboration by passing the appropriate bills in their respective houses.

Amotekun cannot afford to loose it’s focus in this regard.

The East have adopted a different structure and the major Goal is to address security challenges effectively not brag.
This is very simple. The East choose what they think will favor them, so as the West. I don't understand all this argument.

The south west Gov must not allow the Abokis to sabotage their plans. All they want to do is to sabotage the recruitment exercise and plant their moles .

The truth is that security is a Federal issue according to your constitution. That is why even when you want to set up a private guard company, you must get the license of Federal Government through NSCDC. That said, what IGP is trying to do is to allow the States to own their local security but wants their operations subject to the overriding powers and supervisory role of the Nigeria Police to avoid a situation where a Governor would now turn Ametokun to a security agencies that arrest and detain political opponents. So it is a win win situation for me to see the Local security owned by States working hand in hand with Federal agencies to avoid abuse. I think all the local security services set to be established by various states can only arrest and hand over to police for further processing. They should not be given the power to detain any Nigerian, otherwise abuse will be sure!

The Miyetti Allah people,Fulani are still wailing through the IGP.The SWesterners have backed Amotekun with law, though in different states, there will be synergy among them.Amotekun stays and it will be regional. Some criminals are jittery because of amotekun.
All Yorubas either Muslims , Christians or any other religion home and abroad support amotekun.
It will protect all non indigenes in the SW including Malami,Adamu and the Fulanis provided they are not criminals Only the guilty is afraid.
Amotekun will be the best security outfit in the world.

These are subtle ways in which the evil northerners and their president want to undermine Amotekun, using federal authority to remove its biting teeth and eventually render it comatose. SW governors be very conscious and alert about these evil plots..

Lolz.....Bye bye to Amotekun....Lol

Well SE leads others follow...

Everything still ends in community policing.

YES, you lead in drug trafficking, armed robbery, baby factory, fake drugs manufacturing and human trafficking, but no other region is following you. You are miles ahead and out of reach.

unbitchable:
As we speak, it's only the SW that has regional security outfit, Southeast has chickened out and has adopted NPF community policing model. By tomorrow, each SW state signs Amoteku bill into law and each state has a retired military personnel who heads Amotekun commands.
Southeast community police will be directly under the command and control of the IG unlike Amotekun which is under the control of the Governors

Very simple. There is a law backing Amotekun in all states of the SW and the governors are in charge. Amotekun Corps work hand in hand in all the SW states. There is no point arguing about this. Let the SE states choose whatever model that suit them. Oodua Republic and Biafra has no similar history, heritage and therefore, no comparison.

you can disagree with me but anything that has Nigerian police attach to it is doom to fail. Mark my words if that community policing thing by the Federal Government is allowed to caress Amotekun, then Amotekun with direct n redirect by the Nigeria police force. Amotekun should be hundred percent independent.

The whole intention of the Buahri led FG is to sabotage Amotekun, they know they cant do so effectively from outside, using the bully tactics of AGF Mallami and the umbrella terrorist organisation, Myettil Allah, so they re-strategized and came up with the idea of sabotaging it from the inisde!
Very brilliant move!

Already, fear has caused the terrorist Fulani herdsmen to reach out to their sponsors, on how best to cope with the challenge that will be poased by a local, indigeneous outfit that will depend more on Charms and native medicines (not the commercialised version that disappoints, but the Agbekoya types that was used during Operation Wet-tie in 1983, in Ondo State and other Yoruba states).

They hatched the plan to infiltrate the Amotekun organisation by planting Moles inside it, using Community Policing, so they can sabotage it from the inside..
How did Buhari just wake-up and agree to Community Policing, when he has been denying it in the last five years?
he knew his time of denial was up, with the formation of Amotekun but we must give him credit for turning a bad situation around and now using it to garther information (which will be relayed to the Killer Herdsmen, while sabotaging Amotekun's defenses from the inside.
Brilliant.

South West Governor, over to you.
You have been outwitted!!

I know Sanwo-Eko does not think for himself, that one takes orders from Bourdillon so he is very, very unreliable and not trustworthy, deal with him with caution because his "My Daddy" will betray Yorubas, as he has done during the killing of Baba Fasanranti's daughter and on many other occassions, just to be in the good books of the Northener, hoping on 2023 Presidential seat, but he is fooling himself though.

Akeredolu and the rest of SW Governors, you must take it in your stride and thwart the effort of the Caliphate, you are Yorubas and if not for anything, you are noted for your brains and wit.
Time to ourFox the Fox.

You have said it all. The Northerners new that if Amotekun is allowed to operate freely,
then the overzealousness, recklessness and larger than life attitude of the herdsmen will be over in that region. As for Tinubu masquerade dance over the issue because of ambition. The Northerners will make him eat his own flesh. The community policing thing into Amotekun should be rejected.
