Doz is an unsigned artiste, although managed under “burstingbrain management agency”

After a lot of contemplations and demands from fans, the management as well as the singer himself has decided to make a change of name from “DOZ” to “SKYBOY.

According to him, Skyboy is also one of the name he bears, but just an accompany name to his stage name DOZ…The singer explains that the name was actually formed in 2018 just to follow the foot steps of Wizkid (Starboy) and Kizz Daniel (FlyBoy), and also to follow the trend of adding “boy” to stage names;something really notable in the industry at the moment

Also the Skyboy was supposed to be the name of his proposed record label just as kizz daniel has flyboi and wizkid has starboy, but due to some circumstances he could not meet up with, things didn’t go as planned, but since then people had started calling him DozSkyboy.

The change of name happened after he held a meeting with his new management team, where they both agreed to pick up the name Skyboy as the lead name..this intention was to satisfy his fans, as majority of them had been calling him SKYBOY already even before now, which looks like something they preferred than the former name doz
