Former Bayelsa State Governor Elect, David Lyon was already practicing his inauguration parade for his swearing today as Governor before the Supreme Court nullified his election. He was pictured in a ceremonial Land Rover Defender when he rehearsed his Swearing In Ceremony. Douye Diri is a Nigerian politician who is Governor-Elect of Bayelsa State. He was the senator representing Bayelsa Central senatorial district of Bayelsa State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly and gubernatorial standard bearer of the PDP for Bayelsa State November 2019 Elections. On 13 February 2020 the Supreme Court of Nigeria oveturned the results of the 2019 Gubernatorial Elections on grounds that the running-mate to the supposed victor of the elections submitted invalid certificates to the INEC.
