I just LOVED new shaft. Well who doesn't like Samuel L. Jackson. Everything he does is awesome!
Despite going in knowing the less than stellar reviews, I came out of this film enjoying it. Sure the plot is a little uninspired and the comedy can feel forced at times, but in the end the film is entertaining. While this new version of Shaft isn't as socially aware and lacks a bit of edge, it's still a pretty good time at the movies. The acting is good as are the action sequences.
